Job title: Traffic Management Operative\nLocation: London and Home Counties\nIndustry: Traffic Management\nSalary: Depending on Experience\nKey Responsibilities\n * Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management systems on roads and highways\n * Install traffic signs, cones, barriers, temporary traffic lights, and diversion routes\n * Ensure all traffic management complies with health & safety regulations and company procedures\n * Carry out site risk assessments before starting work\n * Monitor traffic flow and adjust layouts where necessary to maintain safety and efficiency\n * Complete daily paperwork, vehicle checks, and incident reports\n * Attend emergency call-outs and reactive works when required\n * Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition\n * Follow Chapter 8 and New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) guidelines\n * Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and members of the public\nRequired Skills & Experience\n * Good understanding of road safety and traffic management procedures\n * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions\n * Strong teamwork and communication skills\n * Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment\n * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious\n * Experience within highways, construction, utilities, or traffic management preferred\nEssential Tickets / Qualifications\n * Lantra 12D M1/M2 Traffic Management Qualification\n (Trainee or qualified operative depending on role)\n * T1/T2 Traffic Management Ticket\n For basic traffic management setups on urban and rural roads\n * NRSWA Street Works Card\n (Signing, Lighting & Guarding)\n * CSCS Card\n Relevant construction or highways card\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n (Often with no more than 6 points)\nif you are interested in the role contact andrew to find out more
