Teaching Assistant Required – SEN School, Wiltshire – Immediate Start

We are seeking caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in Wiltshire on a full-time basis.

The school caters for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and behavioural challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who require additional guidance to achieve their potential both academically and personally.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students in lessons and around the school environment
  • Assisting pupils with their learning and social development
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff
  • Building positive relationships with students to support their individual needs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Experience within SEN, SEMH, ASC or behavioural settings would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, adaptable and resilient approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
