PERMANENT ROLE*\n\nSocial Worker - Children's\n\nSpecialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner – ADHD & Autism Assessments (CYP)\nHybrid – F2F assessments in Manchester, admin from home\nSalary – £42,000 to £56,000 DOE\nSoftware platforms - Semble & Heidi AI\n\nService Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting for a Social Worker to fulfill the role of Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner on behalf of a growing independent provider of autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people across the UK.\n\nThis innovative service delivers high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people through both NHS Right to Choose and private pathways. Through Service Care Solutions, you will join a passionate multidisciplinary team that includes Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Family Therapists, and Psychiatrists, all dedicated to delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and improving long-term outcomes for children and families.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nConduct face-to-face structured ADHD and/or autism assessments with children and young people in Manchester\nComplete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers\nParticipate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions, with senior support available\nDeliver clear, compassionate diagnostic feedback to children and families\nProduce accurate, high-quality diagnostic reports using AI-assisted report writing tools\nProvide clinical supervision where applicableRequirements\n\nMinimum 1 year's professional registration with Social Work England\nSWE – Qualified Social Worker\nRecognised ADHD and/or ADOS/ADI-R qualification\nAt least 1 year's experience working with children and young people in a clinical or CAMHS setting\nExperience conducting or supporting ADHD and/or autism diagnostic assessments in CYP is desirable; candidates with solid paediatric or CAMHS backgrounds and a willingness to train will also be considered\nStrong understanding of neurodevelopmental presentations in children\nKnowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for ADHD and autism\nFamiliarity with tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, or equivalent is advantageous\nEligibility to work in the UKWhy Join Service Care Solutions?\n\nWelcome Bonus of £250, paid after completion of 150 hours (or equivalent) in your new placement\nRefer a friend and earn up to £750 per successful referralTo Apply: Please contact Chris using the details below:\nE: (url removed) T: (phone number removed)
