Job Description

Senior FP&A Analyst

High Growth Consumer Brand

Central London | Hybrid

£70,000 – £75,000 + bonus + benefits

A rapidly scaling consumer and ecommerce business is recruiting a Senior FP&A Analyst into a newly created role during a crucial stage. This is a highly visible and commercially focused position reporting into the Head of FP&A, supporting the commercial finance agenda across a fast-paced omnichannel environment spanning digital, app and retail channels. The business is entering an exciting phase of international expansion, operational development and systems transformation, creating an opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial insight and decision-making across the organisation.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders across the business, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnering activity while helping build the infrastructure and processes required to support continued growth. The role combines FP&A, commercial analysis and business partnering within an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving environment.

There will also be significant involvement in systems development, reporting enhancements and broader finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and improvements to financial processes and controls.

This is a fast-moving and ambitious business where priorities evolve quickly, requiring someone who is commercially curious, highly organised and comfortable operating with pace and ambiguity. The successful individual will be able to combine analytical rigour with a proactive and hands-on approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activity
  • Producing performance reporting and variance analysis across the business
  • Partnering with Marketing and Commercial teams on spend and performance
  • Delivering commercial insight to support decision-making and growth initiatives
  • Supporting month-end reporting and maintaining financial models
  • Driving improvements across systems, reporting and finance processes
  • Supporting strategic projects and wider business initiatives

You will be a qualified accountant with experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering, ideally gained within consumer, retail, ecommerce or fast-growth environments. You will combine strong analytical capability with commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with modelling in Excel, large data sets, ecommerce metrics or ERP systems would be highly advantageous. You will be intelligent, adaptable and commercially driven, with the ability to thrive in an ambitious environment and support businesses through periods of growth and change. For the right individual, this represents a rare opportunity to join an exciting brand and play a key role during a transformational stage of its journey.
