Each student will need a minimum of 10 hours per week, ideally during school time.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide high-quality, personalised tutoring to children with SEN\nTo assess learners needs and plan and implement tailored and structured programs of learning in line with young persons EHCP outcomes\nMake sure the children feel safe and secure\nWork closely with teachers and parents to track student progress and adjust learning plans accordingly.\nFoster an inclusive, positive, and encouraging learning environment.\nMonitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and educational professionals.\nHelp students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.\nPromote independent learning and help students build confidence in their abilities.Key Skills and Experience:\n\nProven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (ideally 2 years experience)\nKnowledge of different SEN categories (e.g., autism, dyslexia, ADHD, speech and language needs) and how to deal with them best.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school staff.\nPatience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to a wide range of learning needs.\nEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one\nA passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.\nA teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) or relevant SEN training (e.g., SENDCO, SEN TA experience) is desirable but not essential
