Mechanical Project Manager\n\nAtrium Associates is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a well‑established, multi‑disciplinary MEP contractor delivering high‑value mechanical and electrical installation and refurbishment projects.\n\nThis role will operate across London, Essex, and Kent, with the initial project based at Canary Wharf, London. The first scheme is a £16m laboratory shell & core and fit‑out project, working within a technically demanding and fast‑paced environment.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the full mechanical delivery of commercial and industrial projects, working closely with contractors, consultants, architects, and engineers to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high professional standard.\nYou will be working under the Mechanical Director and alongside an existing Electrical Project Manager, forming part of a strong and collaborative project leadership team.\n\nThis opportunity would suit an established Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Contracts Manager, or a senior mechanical professional ready to step into a strategic role within a growing and reputable business.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAs Mechanical Project Manager, you will:\n\nManage mechanical projects from design through installation to final handover\nTake responsibility for laboratory, commercial, and industrial mechanical installations\nOversee the mechanical delivery of a £16m shell & core / fit‑out project at Canary Wharf then moving onto further projects\nCoordinate effectively with the Mechanical Director and Electrical Project Manager\nEnsure all works comply with building regulations, industry standards, and client specifications\nProduce and manage project‑specific RAMS, ensuring strict health & safety compliance\nManage direct labour and subcontractors, driving quality and productivity\nMaintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and public‑sector stakeholders\nProvide technical and operational leadership to site and project teams\nEnsure projects are programmed, controlled, and delivered efficiently and commercially\n\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed\n\nProven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Contracts Manager\nStrong background in commercial and industrial mechanical installations\nExperience on shell & core and fit‑out projects, ideally high‑value schemes\nPublic‑sector project experience (education, healthcare, laboratories, or MOD preferred)\nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nSolid understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice\nStrong commercial awareness and project control ability\nAbility to work independently while integrating into a senior management team\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nSalary circa £75,000\nAttractive benefits package including private health cover and pension\nGenerous annual leave\nLong‑term career opportunity with a highly respected MEP contractor with are growing and looking to expand\nClear progression and support from an experienced leadership team\n\n For more information, contact (phone number removed) and ask for Garry, or click APPLY to submit your CV
