Junior Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Our client is a well-established construction company who has seen huge growth over the last two years, they are seeking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to support its continued growth. The role will involve assisting with the delivery of refurbishment projects of varied values across the UK, primarily within the commercial property sector.  This role will involve actively seeking new contracts to work on and will be client facing.\n  \nThey are looking for a motivated candidate with prior exposure to some project management or someone with some site experience, who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of responsibilities, and contribute effectively to the business.\n  \n Job Description: \n \nAssist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial refurbishment projects across the UK \nCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly \nTo proactively support business development activities by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients \nMonitor project timelines and budgets against schedules \nAttend site visits and project meetings to support project progress \nEnsure health & safety procedures and company standards are maintained on site \nLiaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to maintain strong working relationships \nIdentify and escalate project risks or delays where necessary \nHelp to manage project costs \nTravel to sites across the UK as required \nContribute to the continued growth and success of the business through proactive project support Candidate Requirements:  \n \nMust have had some site or project management experience within construction \nWillingness to take on responsibility of various projects \nFlexible and willing to travel to sites across the UK \nStrong work ethic \nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously \nTime management skills and ability to meet deadlines \nMust have a full UK driving licence This role is commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Stafford, Stone, Congleton, Leek, Market Drayton.\n  \n This role would suit candidates with the following experience: Junior Construction Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator,\n  \n Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm\n Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum + Bonus\n\nBenefits:\n \nCompany car \nPension \nBonus (approx. 5k every 6 months, it's dependent on what work you bring in ) Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
