HLTA / PE Specialist - SEMH School

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HLTA to join a specialist SEMH provision in the Middlewich area after May half term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and resilient education professional who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The role will involve a mixture of classroom support, leading learning activities and delivering PE/sports sessions, so we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a sporty background or experience coaching sports alongside working in education.

We are looking for someone who: Holds HLTA status or has strong equivalent classroom experience Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs Is confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner Has a passion for sports, PE or coaching Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff Is adaptable, proactive and able to think on their feet

This would suit: Experienced HLTAs Sports coaches with strong school-based experience Qualified teachers happy to work in a HLTA-style role
