Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist\n\nLocation: London - Fully remote with occasional travel to St Albans / Epsom\n\nDuration: 12 months\n\nRate: £650 per day via umbrella company\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join a busy and collaborative HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong ER knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a varied and complex caseload.\n\nThe successful candidate will support managers and HR teams across a broad range of employee relations matters, whilst providing practical and commercially focused advice.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManaging a varied ER caseload including grievances, disciplinaries, performance and capability matters, absence management, wellbeing cases and contractual queries\nProviding expert ER guidance and support to managers and HR stakeholders\nCoaching and influencing stakeholders to achieve fair and commercially focused outcomes\nEnsuring compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and procedures\nSupporting organisational change initiatives and employee consultation processes\nBuilding strong working relationships across the business to promote positive employee relations\nSupporting ER projects, knowledge sharing initiatives and continuous improvement activities\nInterpreting legislation updates and translating them into practical business guidance\nMaintaining accurate records and ensuring matters are managed in line with best practice and agreed timelines \n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nStrong Employee Relations and employment law knowledge gained within HR, ER or a related advisory role\nExperience managing complex and sensitive people matters\nAbility to influence and coach managers through difficult conversations\nCommercially focused with strong judgement and decision-making skills\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities\nCollaborative team player with the confidence to seek support where required\nStrong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nDegree educated or equivalent professional experience preferredIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
